Sigrid Karlstrom in New Mexico Philharmonic

Sigrid Karlstrom is finishing her 2nd year as a tenured violist in the New Mexico Philharmonic. Graduating May 2012 with a Master’s degree in violin from Mr. G’s studio, she moved to the University of New Mexico to pursue another Master’s in viola and string pedagogy. Winning the viola job was a complete and total surprise, especially as at that time she had been taking viola lessons for only 8 months, but playing in a professional orchestra is an amazing experience!
