First vist to the Vienna Musikverein goldener Saal!

On Saturday we were able to attend a dress rehearsal of the Vienna Symphony (we see Vienna Philharmonic later). The orchestra was fantastic, and our Oboe Teacher Stefanie Gansch plays in the group. She was wonderful and took us in the musician's entrance. The hall is magnificent, and the music-making extraordinary.

This was a painting in the museum which I really liked. It was unusual and stood out from most of the typical "sittings" from that era, is was a moody and very beautiful painting.

Everyone is here! Day one outside the dorms at 31 Sechauerstraße. Ready for the orientation day: getting comfortable with the U-Bahn.

Final concert for our Study Abroad Program was advertised here in this Volkhochschule publication. It is a benefit concert of the Children of Ethiopia.
